Nerea Berrondo, mezzo-soprano
and Pedro Gandía, baroque violin

A rare performance of Spanish and Italian baroque music. Mezzo-soprano Nerea Berraondo brings her emotive voice back to the Lyra stage alongside violinist Pedro Gandía Martín as he explores the culture and music that so influenced modern violin playing.

Includes music by Spanish composers Juan Francés de Iribarren, José de Nebra, and Jayme Torrens, as well as their contemporaries Domenico Scarlatti, Charles Avison, and Francesco Geminiani.
