Lot Demeyer is quickly emerging as one of the West Coast’s leading Baroque oboists. She has performed on historical and modern oboes, as well as recorder, with world-class organizations like LA Opera and Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, as well as LA Chamber Orchestra, Musica Angelica, Bach Collegium San Diego, Long Beach Opera, California Bach Society, Bach Society Houston, Mercury Houston, Bach Society of Minnesota, LA Master Chorale, Pacific Chorale, among others. Festival appearances include the Musica Antiqua Festival (Belgium), Oregon Bach Festival, Berkeley Early Music Festival, Corona Del Mar Baroque Festival, Festival de Juiz de Fora and Festival de Música de Londrina (Brazil).

Dr. Demeyer holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Oboe Performance from the University of Southern California, and a Master’s and Music Education Degree from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Awards and recognitions include fellowships from the Fulbright Foundation, the King Baudouin Foundation and the Belgian American Educational Foundation, a First Prize at the Belfius Classics Music Competition, as well as multiple University of Southern California Chamber Music Awards and Awards for Outstanding Academic Achievements.
