This year, Flying Forms is in residence with Minnesota Public Radio as Class Notes Artists. Through this program Flying Forms will be visiting schools and presenting a program about baroque music highlighting the cultural exchange between Europe and Latin America. This concert will be that very presentation the group will give at schools with music by Monteverdi, Ortiz, Marias, Morel, and more.

“For the Love of Bass” brings five bass-line players together to enjoy the rich tones of bass instruments of the renaissance and baroque. Join us for an afternoon of chamber music for unique, intriguing combinations of instruments as well as the opportunity to ask questions about what you’re hearing!
